ABOUT AMAR:

Amar Gautam is the CEO and Founder of FinTech company HyperLinq. The company provides institutional-grade trading software, HyperTrader, that enables traders to track their portfolios, analyze markets, manage orders, and do post-trade analytics. HyperTrader also provides cryptocurrency traders with the opportunity to gain actionable insights to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of their trading workflow.

Born and educated in India, Amar graduated in 2006 with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering. Amar’s work experience is concentrated mainly in FinTech - designing, architecting, and developing trading systems. After graduation, Amar started working as a software developer on a project for a hedge fund. In 2007, he began working as an API specialist building trading systems and data aggregation pipelines - planting the foundational knowledge to take the next step in his career.

Amar identified the lack of sophisticated trading tools available for cryptocurrency, which prompted him to quit his job and found HyperLinq in 2018.

Amar is very passionate about work culture, significantly increasing transparency, and respect for talent within his company. He is also profoundly concerned about the climate crisis. He has instituted HyperLinq’s climate initiative to contribute toward helping carbon extraction technologies.
