Let me be straight with you. When I first started out in business, I wasn't sure how to get new clients. 

I signed up for a directory, put an ad in a magazine, and then wished for good luck [HINT: don't do any of these things to get clients!]

But then I thought about how I was spending my own money. Who was I buying from, and why? What compelled me to hand over my card? 

I was buying from PEOPLE who I TRUSTED and thought could HELP ME.

And how did I come to know these people? They added VALUE to me over TIME.
